Nevertheless, the lessons will develop and strengthen the fine motor skill and cognitive skill that are important to this age group.Įach lesson consists of three segments encompassingĢ. Another segment of the lessons emphasizes on the basic applications of the 2 sensors with their respective coding functions to enable the robot to execute specific tasks. The students will be introduced to robotics concepts with the emphasis on robot building (hardware), basic coding (software) and the interface between them to create purposeful outcomes. The lessons require the students to remain focused so that they can understand & apply the concepts during lessons to benefit from it. The program consists of 10 lessons of 1 hour and 30 minutes each. We have designed our WeDo robotics Foundation program specially for 5-year-olds.
