Legacy desktop apps are hard to remove leaving stuff behind and over time causes computer slow down and other issues. Native Notifications in the Action Center (unlike web app with Chrome, Desktop app does this) Enable Desktop Notifications in Settings > Notifications. Unlike the Web App, you don't have to have your browser open (and we all know how bad Chrome is with memory) Why should I use this instead of the Desktop or Web App? If you can't use either but you still don't want to use the Desktop app or keep Chrome/Firefox/etc open, use this. If you have a lot of storage space and don't mind doing some technical stuff, convert the normal Desktop app with the DAC. If you don't mind the missing features, use Discord UWP. Quarrel doesn't have full functionality yet while the DAC method is fully functional but requires a lot of storage space to build and I'm not sharing it cause you might not be able to. It's better to use a native UWP app like Quarrel OR convert the desktop app with the Desktop App Converter (DAC) but both have their issues at the moment that may prevent you from using them. For anybody who wants one, I made a basic unofficial UWP app that uses Microsoft's App Studio and Hosted Web Apps.
